Implementation of the PIM system and catalog production automation at KANLUX

Kanlux SA is one of the leading companies in the lighting industry. Founded as a family business in 1989, it has grown into an international enterprise employing hundreds of staff across its subsidiaries. The company continues to expand its sales network both within Poland and abroad. Kanlux offers its customers a wide range of modern lighting solutions organized into six product groups: architectural luminaires, outdoor luminaires, home luminaires, light sources, and complementary products such as electrical installation accessories and modular apparatus. In total, Kanlux’s portfolio includes over 1,500 product items.

Scope of implementation:
- Designing a product database based on the PIMCORE system
- Integration with the ERP system
- Developing an image material database with integrated Digital Asset Management (DAM) functionality within the PIM system
- Supporting language layers and translation processes
- Implementing a module for managing the content and layout of product catalogs
- Preparing templates for automating DTP composition in Adobe InDesign and Easycatalog
- Automating the DTP composition of multilingual product instruction manuals
- Making product data available for the e-commerce platform
