Electronic product data exchange based on BMEcat and ETIM standards opens many new business opportunities. It meets the demands arising from the dynamic growth of online media and e-business but also presents significant challenges. The company’s extensive product range, where each product may need to be described with up to fifty ETIM classification attributes, requires substantial time and human resources to deliver complete and accurate BMEcat e-catalogs to partners. As a solution, we proposed the use of the AMIRADA PIM product database and its advanced bulk data editing capabilities in Excel.

Main objectives of the project:

  • Classification of products in the ETIM 6.0 standard
  • Export of e-catalogs in BMEcat format
  • Support for multiple languages and currencies
  • Bulk data editing using Excel
