The specifics of ERP resulted in high costs when working with a large number of technical attributes. Implementing the PIM system by PIMCORE unlocked new opportunities for integration, consolidation, and management of any type and quantity of digital data.

Such a large network of wholesalers, collaborating with the world's largest wholesale trade organization, was almost compelled to adopt a solution ensuring that product data would not only be consistent but also compliant with the ETIM classification standard. The data entered into the PIMCORE system is used for creating the product catalog as well as being displayed on the website. This significantly reduces the risk of human error.

The client required a solution that would eliminate human error, ensure data consistency across all channels, and provide strong support for international sales.

Spamel is a manufacturer of products such as cam switches, switchgear, installation sets, control stations, and isolating switches. Its product range includes over 36,000 items. We are responsible not only for implementing the product database and preparing multilingual catalogs and product sheets but also for managing the information contained within the database.

Manufacturer and distributor of door handles, tiles, flooring, and furniture accessories

The implementation, which involved building a multilingual product database, was based on the open-source PIMCORE system. The next step was exporting data from the database to Adobe InDesign and assembling product catalogs using EasyCatalog software. Domino, as a manufacturer of interior furnishings, placed equal importance on the aesthetics of the presented data and its accuracy.
