Implementation of the Pimcore system at Miló

Miló is a polish brand with over a decade of experience in the sanitary industry. It combines unique and well-thought-out design with top-quality materials and modern production technologies.

 

 

Main objectives of the project:

  • Ensuring maximum, near 100% consistency across current and future publication channels
  • Maintaining consistency in all language versions
  • Ensuring 100% consistency of digital assets presented across all channels, with automatic conversion between various graphic file formats
  • Increasing the complexity and volume of product data presented in online media
  • Providing more efficient tools for entering large amounts of product data, e.g., by utilizing data inheritance mechanisms
  • Supporting teamwork, reporting progress, and ensuring data completeness
  • Reducing time-to-market through simultaneous work by multiple people on the same data, involving employees from various departments in the data creation process
  • Relieving the ERP system of tasks related to product information management
  • Enhancing decision-makers' control over the process of creating and publishing data

Scope of implementation:

  • Designing a product database based on the Pimcore PIM system
  • Bulk data import and transfer from current data sources
  • Integrating with the ERP system using a data bus (task to be performed by an external partner)
  • Integration with the marketplace
  • Managing language layers and supporting translation processes
  • Developing a product-focused website based on the Pimcore CMS and product data from Pimcore PIM/DAM
